Going Home!
They pulled double luman catheter that Kevin had in his chest today, and I have booked our flight back home for tomorrow night. Hopefully I can have everything packed up by then!
I am So excited to hear he's coming home!!! When you and Eric are ready to have family come by and welcome him home, let me know!!! I'd love to help throw a little welcome back with the family. Take some time getting back and gettting settled in and please let me know. I"m so excited :-) Laura
You must be so thrilled!! I'll bet you just can't get things packed fast enough. We are so happy that you are going home to be with family and loved ones at last. Waking up in your own bed---it's soooo awesome. You'll feel shiny and new in no time!
We hope you get some much needed rest and relaxation and enjoy lots of laughs with each other. Have a safe but speedy journey home.
THAT'S GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!! Who cares about packing just hop on that plane and take off lol. I bet Kevin is so excited to get back to his own home and toys. Plus he will get to see all his buddies again. Plus I;m sure your ready for a good nights sleep in your own bed. Hope the flight is good and everything goes smoothly. Like always I will be thinking of you and him. ( i don't think i will be able to wipe the smile off of my face after hearing this news.)
This is my first visit to your site. My daughter was diagnosed in Feburary of 2008 with medulloblastoma also. I am so glad to hear that Kevin is done with treatments and heading home. Kristin Parker www.caringbridge.org/visit/emilyparker
